Its very much dependant on your skill, knowledge of the level, and your tactics. Even marines absorb two beam rifles, MC dies, in one. Halo 2 also buffed up enemies and made you the second weakest entity in the game, this is bad compensation. In h2 you will get your rear destroyed, for using anything (or playing in a specific way) other then a precision based weapon that isn't the sword or a rocket. Halo CE allowed a much wider margin of error and made guns feasible to use. Halo 2 allows no margin of error, or a very constricted margin of error (this is not a good thing, this is halo not call of duty veteran difficulty, you are a spartan). It also make's zero sense how the MKVI got nerfed on legendary compared to the MKV. Halo 2's legendary is evidently very broken. Originally posted by Exodus:^Hard shouldn't be dependent on RNG.
